nane press is a design and letterpress printing studio based in Brooklyn, New York, specializing in small runs of made-to-order pieces.

My name is Jennie. I’m a designer and a printer. Nane (rhymes with rain) is my mom, and also happens to be one awesome lady.

I’m a firm believer that simple, everyday moments can bring us great joy, like a cup of cocoa on a snowy afternoon or jumping through puddles on a rainy day. Receiving a well-crafted letterpress-printed piece and running your fingers over the surface is one of those moments – something a little special that brightens our day, that helps us to pause and smile. It’s my goal to help my clients give those moments to their own friends, family members, and clients.

All of my work is hand-printed on a Vandercook proofing press, one at a time, then hand-assembled. I keep things small but mighty; I’ve found it’s the best way to service clients, focus on the details, and ultimately create a better product that people ‘ooh’ and ‘ahh’ over.
